Two miles of hiking trails, streams, and a large one-acre pond are perfect for swimming, tubing, and reflecting. Relax alongside clear streams and pools. This creatively decorated, owner-built cabin has a living room/basic kitchen, bedroom with queen-size bed, loft with double bed, full bath, and deck. The cabin is designed for couples, but can sleep up to four. On chilly nights, for the romantic or naturalist, light up a woodstove with free firewood. For your added comfort, there is also electric heat. An antique clawfoot tub on a deck surrounded by woods is a special indulgence. The cabin is only 1-1/2 miles from the Potomac River, where you will find public access to swimming, boating, and fishing. Also nearby are C&O Canal Towpath, and 20,000-acre Sleepy Creek wildlife preserve. Prospect Peak, and Paw Paw Tunnel are some of the area attractions. Bike and canoe rentals are also close. A 12-mile drive to Berkeley Springs offers massages, mineral baths, antiquing, great restaurants, theatre, and a diverse art community.
