the Heifer Stroll, the Green Mountain State's

Mountain.’ This 16-day art extravaganza annually

Naulakha, Rudyard Kipling's home in Vermont. One of the
most revered authors of his day, Kipling wrote many
acclaimed novels and poems, including "The Jungle
Books" and "Captains Courageous" (to name
but two of the works written at Naulakha). Nestled in
Southern Vermont’s Green Mountains, Mount Snow Valley
boast excellent alpine skiing, as well as great
cross-country trails, snowshoeing and romantic horse-drawn
