The heart of the lodge is the Great Room, a spacious common area with 20-foot cathedral ceiling and a massive stone fireplace. The high ceilings give way to a Western Mission style decor saltillo tile floors and warm furnishings.

Three comfortable guest bedrooms, each with two twin beds, comfortably sleep six, with room for four additional guests on the fold-out couches.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for your Bandera getaway. You can also grill your food on the wood-fired stone barbecue pit in the shape of a wishing well.

Enjoy your meals on an antique drop-leaf trestle table or on the spacious screened porch (there's even a bed for afternoon napping in the breeze). Relax in the large front patio with umbrella and seating under the stars. If you would rather do your relaxing inside, the lodge is equipped with a television with VCR and DVD player as well as a stereo. Perhaps you might want to sit at the grand piano in the great room and play a few tunes.
