Spring and fall migrations produce an
awesome spectacle in this small coastal community. Rockport,
Texas has attracted birders from all over the world because of
the large variety of birds that pass through this flyway. |

Cygnet is situated in the middle of 10
acres of natural habitat where oaks, bayberry, vines and many
undisturbed brushy areas provide a safe haven. Water is
available year around for the birds. As spring comes around
the Oak worms provide a great banquet for over 25 varieties of
warblers that pass through here.
September is an opportunity to witness the
phenomenal hummingbird migration through Rockport and the
surrounding counties. The town has a festival in honor of the
little guys.
