The Guadalupe River and Ingram Lake and Dam are great places to enjoy the water. Twenty-five minutes takes you to the eclectic towns of Comfort and Fredericksburg or Luckenbach, the legendary town made famous by Willie Nelson. An hours's drive takes you to San Antonio, with attractions such as Sea World, the Alamo, the famous San Antonio Riverwalk and Fiesta Texas, the Six Flags of the Southwest.

Hill Country activities might begin with a bracing cup of coffee on the veranda while watching for the occasional deer, jackrabbit or fox. There is usually plenty of sun for getting that great tan and lightening storms in this region can be spectacular.
