- Property Type: Vacation homes and
condos.
- Accommodations: 1 to 6 bedrooms.
- Amenities: Full kitchen, telephone with
free local calls, TV/VCR/DVD player/stereo, cooking utensils, and
linens provided. Several offer Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, ocean
views, free tennis, private or shared-use swimming pools/hot tubs,
and/or scenic decks and patios.
- Rates: Starting at $150.00 per night,
$650.00 per week, and $1,200.00 per month (monthly rentals available
in low season). Rates vary by size of rental, season, and length of
stay and are subject to change without notice. A total of 11% will
be added to all rates unless the guest stays over 90 consecutive
days.
- Vacation Amenities: A taxable 6%
amenities fee includes the following: Express check-in and
check-out once your full payment and signed Rental Agreement
is received you will receive your keys or key code either by mail or
email. You will also receive directions to your rental property,
maps and Island information prior to your arrival. Bed Linens
Bath Towels 2 bath towels, hand towel, and washcloth
are provided for each guest. Kitchen/laundry starter
amenities include: 2 dish towels, pot holders, single use of
dishwashing and laundry detergent, 2 rolls of toilet paper per
bathroom, roll of paper towel, box of facial tissue and bar of soap
for each sink. Departure Clean Car passes for required
resorts Wireless Internet Service Discount coupons for
golf, restaurants, shopping, bike, beach and baby rentals

- Minimum Stay: Minimum stays vary by
property.
- Deposit and Payments: A prepayment of
40% and an administration fee of $85 is required when your
reservation is made. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days
prior to your arrival. The remainder of your balance is due and
payable in full 30 days prior to your arrival. We accept Visa,
MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Other
acceptable methods of payment include personal check, cashiers
check, certified check and money order. Make checks payable to Beach
Properties. Please remember to include your reservation number on
your payment. All payments must be paid in U.S. dollars. There is a
$25.00 handling fee for all returned checks. Beach Properties takes
the credit card number in case of damages or incidentals incurred
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or
changes in your dates/properties must occur more than 60 days (90
days on home and monthly rentals) prior to the scheduled arrival
date to receive refund of prepayment, less a cancellation fee of
$50.00. If you cancel within 60 days (90 days for home rentals), you
forfeit your prepayment plus the $50.00 administrative fee.
Cancellation within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date will
result in the entire loss of your total rental amount, unless the
same property can be rented for the same rate and dates. Travel
insurance may be purchased for 6% of your total rental and is highly
recommended. No refunds will be given for cancellation or
interruption of your stay due to inclement weather.
- Check-in: anytime after 4:00 p.m. Check-out:
by 10:00 a.m. on day of departure.
- Restrictions: No smoking. Children
welcome. Beach Properties rents to families, married couples, and
responsible adults 25 years of age or older with the exception of
married couples where at least one of the individuals is 21 years of
age. Person signing the contract must occupy the premises the entire
length of reservation.
- Restrictions - Pets: We have a limited
number of pet-friendly accommodations; however, pets are
not allowed during the Summer season or holidays. This policy will
be strictly enforced. If you are found in violation of the policy,
Agent reserves the right to immediately cancel your rental
reservation and occupancy of the dwelling. Additionally, Guest will
forfeit all monies and incur a minimum additional penalty of $300.
- Restrictions - Vehicles: Trailers,
U-hauls, Motor Homes, Motorcycles and/or commercial or recreational
vehicles are prohibited in the Plantations on Hilton Head Island and
the Sea Crest Resort. NO watercraft trailers (boats, jet skis, etc.)
are allowed into the Plantations without prior arrangements for dry
dock and/or boat slip. Parking is not allowed on streets.
- Recreation and Activities: Beachcombing,
golf, tennis, shopping, swimming, water skiing, boating, hiking,
biking, horseback riding, dining, and sight-seeing.
- Surrounding Attractions and Special Events:
Arts center, museums, nature preserves, historic sites, beaches,
marinas, and championship golf courses. Historic Savannah,
Charleston, and Beaufort nearby.
- Directions: Southbound motorists on I-95
should take exit #8, which is Highway 278. Highway 278 takes you
directly into Hilton Head Island.
