Getaway Cabins was started ten years ago with a single cabin. The original 1840's log cabin is the location of the office and Misty Ridge Gift Shop. Getaway now boasts 31 cabins, each with its own distinct personality, at several locations within the Hocking Hills State Park region of Ohio. These vacation rentals accommodate 2 to 8 guests and some are even pet friendly. Each abode includes an outdoor hot tub, electric fireplace, air-conditioning, television with VCR and DVD, modern bathrooms, lounging area, fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, gas grill for outdoor cooking and Wireless Internet Access. All of your towels, linens, cookware, and utensils are provided. Just bring your own food and toiletries!

Several romantic indulgences are available if you want to add that "something extra" to your stay. Roses, balloon bouquets, a professional massage in the privacy of your own cabin, or a romantic dinner for two will be added upon request at an additional charge. The "Fireside Romantic Package" is perfect for those who want it all!

Surrounded by Hocking Hills State Park, Getaway Cabins is close to plenty of outdoor recreation. You can fish, canoe, cycle, hike, hunt, go rock climbing and rappelling, and horseback ride, taking in the fabulous scenery along the way. Unique shops and intimate dining are also nearby.
