• Amenities: Outdoor shower, rocking chairs, wireless Internet access, telephone, TV/DVD/VCR player, microwave, dishwasher, wood burning fireplace/stove, assortment of videos, books, and cookbooks. Pima cotton sheets, Egyptian cotton towels, extra pillows in each room, beach towels and umbrellas, gas grill, front porch, hair dryer in each bathroom, alarm clock in each bedroom, and crib upon request.
• Rates: All rates shown are weekly and for 3-day stays. $200.00 refundable Security Deposit required. Note: Until rental is confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. 10% Military discounts available for those visiting family members at Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point.

• Check-in: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check-out: 10:00 a.m.
• Minimum Stay: 3 nights minimum available only during off-season (September 1, 2007 - April 31, 2007).
• Deposit and Payments: 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival in form of personal check, cashier's check. A damage/security in the amount of $200.00 to be paid thirty days prior to your arrival date along with your final payment. Deposits will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure date, providing no damages were incurred during your stay. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of confirmed bookings are liable for the full amount of the rental unless the residence is re-rented at no less than the same rate for the same period of time. If the latter occurs, the deposit, rent and any other sums paid will be refunded less a service charge of 10% of the total rent. No partial refunds for rental parties smaller than anticipated, arriving late, leaving early or no shows.
• Restrictions: Pets OK with owner's permission ($25.00 fee nightly or $100.00 weekly).. No smoking.
• Recreation and Activities: Festivals, state parks, golf, gyms, museums, hunting, fishing, and more.

Continue on Hunters Creek Road to John & Lucille's Country Retreat.
  From New Bern's Craven County Regional Airport (EWN ): Head East from Airport Road - .6 mi. Turn left at US-70W 2.5 mi. Continue on US70W 1.5 mi. Take the US-17 ramp to Jacksonville - .3 mile. Turn left at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. - 6.8 mi. Bear right at US-17 - 4.4 mi. Continue on US 17 20 miles. You will go through the towns of Pollocksville and Maysville (Be Aware: Speed traps). At the stop light in Maysville, turn left onto NC58, Go 10 miles and take a left onto Hunters Creek Road. Arrive at John & Lucille's Country Retreat.
