The Wikle Lodge is a two-story farmhouse that is ideal for family reunions and groups. Nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains in Bryson City, the home offers privacy and comfort during your stay in the area.

The lodge, which is large enough to fit a group, yet snug enough to keep that cozy feel of home. Gather around the large living room fireplace and swap stories of the day, or pop a video into the VCR for everyone to enjoy. There are five bedrooms, each comfortably furnished, two bath rooms and a laundry room.

The home's fully equipped kitchen has microwave, dishwasher and cooking utensils. Peruse the local paper or enjoy a second cup of coffee while making your plans for the day around the country dining room table.

You may begin your day with a refreshing dip in the nearby pool, or visit the gym for an energizing morning workout. Several outdoor activities in the area are available to you, including hiking, horseback riding, rafting, tubing, fishing, boating, and kayaking amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The Cataloochee Ski Area provides scenic skiing for families and groups of all ages and abilities. Bryson City is also near Cherokee, North Carolina, where the culture of the Cherokee Indians is deeply embedded. Visit the local reservation, the mountainside theatre production of Unto These Hills, arts and crafts shops, and museums, all focusing on the tragedy and triumph of the Cherokee people.
