Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf

Ingredients

1/2 cup soft butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 medium)

One 6-ounce package chocolate chips

In large bowl, cream butter, vanilla, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Blend in butter/egg mixture alternately with mashed bananas; stir in chocolate chips. Put into muffin tin or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
