Delaware
beach and ocean activities can be thrilling, relaxing or
anywhere in between. The thirty miles of Delaware beaches
give way to windsurfing, clamming and crabbing, sailing,
dolphin watching and some of the best surf and deep sea
fishing to be found along the East Coast. When you come in
out of the sun, enjoy shopping at both small town, unique,
specialty stores or absolutely tax-free shopping at more
than 150 outlet stores. Travel through town by trolley or
ride the Cape May-Lewis Ferry, the most memorable way to
travel between Delaware and New Jersey. On the boardwalk
you will find one mile of eateries, games and shops and
your hosts will be happy to direct you to playgrounds,
waterparks, golf courses, band concerts and many fine
dining establishments. Fans will love the State
Fairgrounds and Raceway for great events and exciting
races. For the outdoor enthusiasts the Tabor State Forest
and Killans Pond State Park make for a great day trip.
Kent County is beautiful and full of exciting adventures.
