• Deposit and Payments: Full payment by check at time of booking.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of deposit, less a $35.00 cancellation fee. If notice is received less than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date, a refund, less the cancellation fee, will be given only if we re-rent the cottage.
• Restrictions: No smoking indoors. Pets allowed. Children welcome!
• Breakfast: A full breakfast consisting of all organic ingredients is offered.
• Recreation and Activities: Hot tub on premises. Hiking, kayaking, boating, and fishing nearby.
• Surrounding Attractions and Special Events: Pacific Ocean, Tomales Bay, Mt. Vision, and Point Reyes National Seashore.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: The Olema Inn (415) 663-9559 and Station House Cafe (415) 663-1515.
• Recommended Local Foods and Markets: Tomales Bay Foods: local cheeses, fresh meals to go, Strauss ice cream, and organic veggies.
• Directions: From Highway 101 North, take the San Anselmo, Sir Francis Drake Blvd. exit. Drive on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. through San Anselmo and Fairfax going west for about 45 minutes to Olema. Turn right (north) onto Highway 1 for 1 block. Turn left onto Bear Valley Road. Drive for 2.3 miles to the stop sign. Turn left onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd., then take the next left onto Balboa. Fir Tree Cottage is at 75 Balboa Avenue on the left, exactly 1/2 mile from Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Please watch for a post with the 75 on it; there is no other sign at the road. Pull up the driveway and park at the log at the end of the driveway.
