Carrier's exclusive Air Purifier Filter electrostatically traps airborne particles missed by ordinary filters. Under normal conditions, the Air Purifier Filter maintains cleaner air for six months. Carrier Heat Pumps absorb heat from the air outside and bring it indoors, reducing the need for costly electric heat. In areas of mild winters, a Carrier Heat Pump can cut winter electricity consumption up to one-half over conventional electric heat. A dependable, internal electric heater kicks in when outside temperatures register below 35° F. Above 35° F, a Carrier heat pump is three times more efficient than electric heat. The cycle reverses in summer, making Carrier Heat Pumps the sensible choice for year-round comfort in areas of mild winters and long, hot summers.
