• Payment: One night's deposit requested. Security deposit required for cottage. Visa, Mastercard, cash, personal checks, and travelers' checks accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of deposit, minus $15.00 handling fee. With later cancellation, deposit will be refunded if room is rented.
• Restrictions: No pets (pets in residence) in Bed and Breakfast; 1 attended pet allowed in cottage. Pets allowed at Riverside Retreat for an extra charge. Children over 13 welcome. Smoking allowed in specific areas.
• Breakfast: Full breakfast served in B&B only except during the Augusta Festival (then it is a continental breakfast). Cottage has its own kitchen.
• Inn's Favorite Recipes: Cranberry-Orange Bread, ... Hot Shrimp Dip, ... Cranberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake, ... Broccoli Cheddar Cheese Soup, and Cherry Pie Supreme.
• Recreation & Activities: Mountain biking, tennis, golf, swimming, hiking, hunting, horseback riding, rock climbing, birdwatching, antiquing, and shopping. Trout, bass, perch, and catfish fishing in the Cheat and Tygarts Rivers. Downhill skiing at Canaan Valley, Timberline, and Snowshoe Resorts, and cross-country at White Grass and local trails.
• Attractions & Special Events: Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Monongahela National Forest, Otter Creek Wilderness area, Ramp Festival, Mountain State Forest Festival, Augusta Heritage Festival, Rich Mountain Battlefield, Hallihurst Mansion and Historic Beverly. four excursion trains.
