Hillbrook Inn us a European style country
house hotel nestled in the Shenandoah Valley near Harpers
Ferry, West Virginia. This graceful English Tudor, residing on
17 acres or gardens and a daffodil lined pond, once belonged
to George Washington.
Cascading down a limestone ridge on fifteen
levels, the inn has 2000 panes of glass flooding the interior
with light. Guest enjoy the rich patina of old wood, and the
gleam of polished brass, the deep jewel tones of oriental
carpets and luxuriously country decor. Flemish oils, African
masks, dramatic contemporary sculpture set the scene in a
library lined with books where you can relax by the flicker of

The Cottages are a quick walk down the
stone path from Main house, offering a distinctive level of
privacy and each decorated with a sense of style and uniquely
hand painted. This is the perfect space for guests looking for
extra privacy and upgraded amenities. The Main House offers
rooms with character and charm filled with antiques, hard wood
floors with jewel tone oriental carpets, and custom duvets and
coverlets. Some accommodations offer romantic fireplaces,

be a guest of Hillbrook Inn to enjoy a cocktail at Bullskin
Tavern. At the bar, sit in front of the roaring fire in the
living room or take pleasure in sitting on the sunny front
terrace. Many guests enjoy playing on the baby grand piano or
listening to the fountain on the front terrace during their
visit. You are welcome to stop by the Tavern for a drink and a
tour of the Inn, Thursday Sunday.
