Berkeley Springs has earned its listing among America's 100 best small arts towns with its community of noted artists and an active arts council. Artists stage a studio tour each August. Galleries, craft shops, art shows and performances at the new Ice House, and the concert series in the park satisfy those seeking arts, crafts, and treasures hand-crafted by some of America's finest talent. There is classical music from the Coolfont Foundation in summer, shows by Lawrence Welk star Tom Netherton at the Country Inn, and Thursday night jam sessions at Tari's Cafe. Regular weekend entertainment includes a Depression-era movie theater.
