Teal Wing Golf Club has been developed under strict environmental guidelines based on the long conservation history of the Ross family and in cooperation with Audubon International as a member of their Signature Course program. It has been crafted with environmental sustainability in mind, with programs to maintain the natural habitat as well as to decrease the chemical and energy use as well as reduce solid waste.

Substantial wild areas between the fairways, the course is centered on an intact stand of virgin hemlock. It is truly a walk in the woods, with Teal River on one side and ancient forest on the other. Teal Wing Golf Club is a joyful mix of natural northwoods beauty and good golf.

Ross' Teal Lake Lodge, with just almost 2/3 of a mile of Teal Lake shoreline and 1 mile of Teal River shoreline, provides an unique private opportunity to enjoy the beauties of one of Wisconsin's most beautiful natural lakes. Teal Lake and Lost Land Lake provide 3,000 acres of prime fishing and recreation from your dock.

We are "The Quiet Lakes", the only major lakes in the Midwest with a 10 m.p.h. legal speed limit. Without waterskiing, speedboats, and jetskis, we have both the quiet and the safety for you to truly enjoy sailing, canoeing, or just watching the sunset and listening to the loons. Teal Lake's six wilderness islands host eagles and great blue herons and provide sheltered water for those windy days. It is not unusual to see deer and even an occasional bear on the islands' undisturbed shoreline.

Fishing for Muskelunge ("musky"), walleye Pike, Bass, North pike, crappie and pan fish can be enjoyed May through the summer.

Live bait, a small tackle shop, and rental equipment all available at the resort. Two well-stocked close local stores, Happy Hooker and Dow's Corners, supply all other fishing needs, including licenses. Advice, stories, and examples surround you. Mounted examples of fish and other local wildlife will also surround you, with trophies to tempt you.
