Beautiful log and
country cottages in forested honeymoon settings... |
 |
|
One of the Northwest's most romantic
destinations, Guest House Cottages is unique among small
Northwest Inns and features a surprising selection of
romantic guest quarters tucked in 25-acre forest setting.
Guest House surroundings are lush and green: wildlife
abounds... from a croaking chorus of frogs, to soaring
bald eagles, roaming deer, rabbits, and other small
woodland creatures. Relax to nightly owl duets and frog
serenades, then wake in the morning to a medley of bird
songs.
The centerpiece of the grounds is the
Lodge, a custom log home set on the edge of a wildlife
pond. The lodge features beautiful antiques, a fireplace
made of Montana travertine, and one of the most romantic
loft bedrooms you will ever sleep in, with skylights and a
spa tub for two.
Five storybook cottages
in woodsy seclusion provide the perfect setting for a
peaceful retreat or memorable honeymoon. Each cottage
accommodates two adult guests. While all the cottages have
the niceties of a small home, including TV, VCR, movies,
electric heat, petite kitchens, Jacuzzis, fireplaces,
books, and magazines, each is totally different and
individually decorated with country antiques, warmth, and
imagination. In these rustic yet modern lodgings you will
find either river rock fireplaces or free-standing wood
burning fireplaces, front porches, skylights, and lovely
country comfortable furnishings.
The central location of Guest House
makes it an ideal vacation or weekend destination as well
as a stopping-off-place on the way to Victoria or
Vancouver, B.C. The Keystone Ferry, only 20 minutes away,
is the gateway to Port Townsend, the Olympic Mountains,
and rain forests as well as to the Pacific ocean beaches.
Drive north off the island via Deception Pass Bridge to
reach the North Cascades Pass and Eastern Washington.
Seattle is only 75 minutes away including a 15-minute
ferry ride. |

Whidbey Island is located in the Northwest
corner of Washington State between the Olympic and Cascade
mountain ranges in Puget Sound.
This is the largest island in the
contiguous United States and home to the world's largest
loganberry farm. Greenbank Farms vineyards and tasting room
(owned by Ste. Michelle's Winery) is just a mile north of
Guest House.
A few of Whidbey's varied attractions
include exploring historic villages and sites, boating,
fishing, hiking, and beach combing. You can also go clamming,
crabbing, biking, swimming, trail riding, or just plain
relaxing on what is surely one of the more beautiful islands
to be found!
The outdoor swimming pool, spa, and
exercise room plus complimentary movies are available to all
guests.
Gift certificates are available so you can
treat a friend or spoil yourself at Guest House, a new concept
for old world tradition. |
