Just five miles from Langley on the sunset side of
Washington State's Whidbey Island, you will find the
award-winning Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with grand water and
mountain views. The Farmhouse is situated on 2-1/2 acres of
orchard, country gardens, and pasture on what is considered to
be the longest island in the continental United States. A
unique lodging combination, The Farmhouse offers individual,
private accommodations with kitchens along with the genial
hospitality of caring innkeepers.
Two sheep, a multitude of bunnies and donkeys "Cleopatra"
and "Leopold" are on hand to welcome you to the
Farmhouse. Views from the Farmhouse include sweeping vistas of
the mountains, Puget Sound shipping lanes, Useless Bay,
sunsets, and the surrounding countryside. Each of the four
suites features a private entrance, deck, private bath (two
with whirlpool tubs), king or queen bed, twin sofa bed,
fireplace, kitchen, and sitting room with cable television,
VCR, DVD/CD player, phone and high speed Internet connection.
The outdoor Hot Tub, overlooking the garden, is the perfect
place to stargaze or daydream.
The Loft Suite is a second-story honeymoon
suite with a king bed, private deck, and a breathtaking view
of the water, mountains, and gardens. The fireplace and
whirlpool tub for two are especially romantic. The Lavender
Suite has a peek-a-boo view through the roses, a queen
bed, and a fireplace. The Daisy Suite features
a wood stove and electric heat along with a private patio.
Complete with a full kitchen and washer/dryer, this suite is
ideal for extended stays. The Rose Garden Suite
has a king-sized bed, extra-deep soaking whirlpool tub in the
private bath, a fireplace, and grand mountain and water views.
This suite can also be made up to accommodate four singles in
twin beds for a fun retreat. Birdhouses are a recurring theme
throughout the suites as well as in the gardens.
A generous country continental breakfast to enjoy within
your suite may include homemade breads, muffins, scones,
fruit, juice, yogurt, cereal, and homemade granola -- a great
start to your day of enjoying Whidbey Island.
The little farm produces asparagus and rhubarb in the
spring, raspberries in July, apples, pears and hazelnuts in
the fall, a multitude of flowers from February to November,
and plenty of peace, quiet, and relaxation all year long. |
