Seen on site from time to time are osprey, bald eagle, blue
herons, king fishers, and otters fishing the pond. Many
migrant bird species are also seen at Hidden Haven. Venture
out on the Inn's own private nature trail to experience the
local flora and fauna, cozy up to the evening campfire, feed
the private herd of fallow deer, or cross the arched bridge
for an afternoon cup of tea in the island gazebo.

Take a drive, cycle, or hike the Dungeness Scenic Loop to
the national Wildlife Refuge. Along the way, enjoy the most
beautiful views of the Sequim Valley, Canada, and the San
Juans. Hike the longest natural sand spit in the country;
you'll encounter shorebirds, deer, otters, sea lions, and
perhaps a whale! Then for a grand finale, tour the Dungeness
Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in the northwest. |
