The E.J. Roberts Mansion Bed &
Breakfast, located in Eastern Washington's city of Spokane,
was built in 1889 in the Queen Ann style. Here you can step
back in time and enjoy Victorian elegance, modern amenities

The Mansion offers four suites, two
accommodation have private baths and two have a shared bath.
There is also a separate suite complete with full kitchen and
living room. You will love the graceful high ceilings, bay
windows, custom made draperies and elegant decor. Along with
this romantic Victorian splendor you will find all the modern
conveniences including Wireless Internet access to make your
stay thoroughly memorable.
The gardens and landscaping at the Mansion
have been lovingly maintained and represent the Victorian era
with numerous sitting areas, arches, walkways, beautiful
flower beds, and even a secret garden which lends
itself to special tea parties and occasions with a wonderful
flair. Completely obscured from the outside world, the Secret
Garden is a haven for weary travelers seeking peace and quiet.
Perhaps the most secluded place on the mansion grounds, it is
only accessible through a hidden doorway.
Once inside, guests are greeted by an old
oak tree trimmed with a chandelier. Light filters through the
canopy of leaves, dappling the emerald grass below and
creating a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or a cup of tea.
Outfitted with adult and child-sized wicker, the garden offers
numerous nooks to enjoy flowers in the soft shade. The
flagstone path is overgrown with velvety moss and is a
wonderful place for children to explore.
The E.J. Roberts' Mansion serves a full
gourmet breakfast served on antique family china every
morning. Private lunches and dinners can be arranged. The
Mansion offers monthly scheduled Victorian Teas, which include
a five course meal, served by staff dressed in period clothes.
After breakfast you will find plenty to do.
The Spokane area offers many attractions including local award
winning museums, historical tours, art galleries, wineries,
festivals, parks, and the world's largest wooden roller
coaster. Recreational opportunities in the area include golf,
water-skiing, rock-climbing, camping, Alpine and Nordic
skiing, snowmobiling, and ice skating.

The Mansion offers many common rooms for
guest use.
The Parlor
swathed in silks and velvet, is a wonderful place to enjoy a
quiet moment or visit with friends. The ample seating and
piano lend themselves well to parties, while the pocket doors
and location offer privacy.
The Billiard
Room with its massive mahogany billiard table is
original to the house. Here you can enjoy a game of pool or
engage in other Victorian or contemporary diversions. The room
features a slide projector, TV, a card playing area, a
visiting cove and a plethora of games.
The Library
features an astonishing array of antique books artfully
displayed in an ornate built-in bookshelf, while immense
windows draped in velvet illuminate the room. Beautiful inlaid
floors and plush oriental carpets, a wonderful fireplace, a
gorgeous hand-blown Georgian chandelier, and a pump organ
adorn the room.
The Dining Room
has Bradbury wallpaper on the ceiling and walls. The
atmosphere is further enhanced by a crystal chandelier and an
exquisitely carved dinning room table. Windows showcase the
