As a guest at
the Cozy Rose, you know your lodging quarters will feature
a private bath, KING BEDS, PRIVATE ENTRANCES,

microwave. One suite also includes a full kitchen. Every
room has its own individual entrance with a private deck
overlooking miles of rolling green countryside. A
candlelight breakfast is delivered to each suite.
After breakfast,
you'll have plenty of opportunities to indulge yourself
outside. Popular activities include biking, jogging, and
walking. An 18-hole golf course is a mere five minutes
away, and two others are close by. You can also meet the
Inn's llamas, Chocolate and Stubborn. Explore the area,
keeping in mind that Grandview has the distinction of
being located within 30 miles of 40 wineries and
vineyards. After a short drive, you can also arrive at any
one of the area's two microbreweries.
In 1994, the
City of Yakima received the All-America City Award, given
by the National Civic League. Ten U.S. cities receive this
award per year. Friendly people, mild climate, and natural
beauty makes this destination a memorable getaway. A
bright spot in the economy and a tourist attraction of the
Yakima Valley is the burgeoning wine industry, due in part
to the Yakima Valley soil, which is very similar to the
soil conditions of France. Over fifty wineries dot the
Yakima Valley, covering more than 11,000 acres.

region are some of the best in the world due to the fact that
this part of Washington state has been powdered by ash from
Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption - and the growing fields
are very rich in minerals nurturing some very fine wines.
There are many small
family wineries that you can tour. You will be able to wander
through the countryside and stop to enjoy their wines and the
flavor of the friendly people in this region.
With over 300 days
of sunshine this abundant growing area is famous for luscious
fruits and veggies as well.
