Tamarack Liqueur Chocolate Chip Pie

To serve this taste of Vermont at home, you'll have to stop at a Vermont liquor store to pick up Vermont Distillers' Tamarack Liqueur. They distill this spicy concoction in Williston, Vermont. Currently, the distribution of this micro-distilled maple and bourbon spirit is somewhat limited. Once you try it, your taste buds will remember it forever!

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

3/4 cup Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts

2 Tablespoons Vermont Distillers Tamarack Liqueur

One 8-inch unbaked pie shell

Mix the ingredients thoroughly and pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until browned. Serve with your favorite ice cream (we like a berry ice cream) and a huge glass of milk!
