Exit 2 in Brattleboro. Follow signs for Route 30 as you drive
through this active town. Trace scenic Route 30 as it winds along
the bucolic West River valley. Be alert for deer, hawks, kayaks, and
other signs of Vermont life. Pass slowly through photogenic Newfane,
with its classic village green and graceful Federal-style
courthouse. Continue on Route 30, curling past another village green
in Townshend. About 25 miles from Brattleboro, you enter our genial
village of Jamaica. Three Mountain Inn is on the right, just across
from Town Hall.
From the west: Drive through Manchester, with
its profusion of tempting temples of consumerism. Find Route 30 and
ascend the beautiful Green Mountains, past Stratton ski area, to
Jamaica. The Inn is on the left, after passing through the heart of
the village.
