- Special Events at Inn: We offer a
weekend fishing
package -- a full day (8 hours) with our Orvis
guides, who provide all the equipment, flies, and lunch. Our guide
will take you to the best river for flyfishing depending on the
season and weather. The guides will take a maximum of 2 fishermen
per guide, providing a maximum of personal time with the guide. We
provide 2 nights' lodging, dinner with wine, and breakfast. In the
spring, we also offer
Northern
Italian Cooking Workshops, which cover not only recipes,
basics, and technique but also product and tradition. The workshops
offer a full day of cooking, 2 nights' lodging, and a group-effort
dinner on Saturday night. Call for March through May dates and
rates.
- Recreation & Activities: Skiing
(Okemo, Ascutney, and Killington), hiking, fly fishing (Black River
and Ottoquechee River), and the Green Mountain Horse Association.
The Pond House specializes is custom designed bicycle routes. Summer
swimming in spring-fed pond and winter skating. Back country ski
touring
- Attractions & Special Events: 2- to
7-day bicycle packages of 5 to 100 miles a day are available. The
Pond House is only 30 minutes from Dartmouth College. Accommodations
for guest's horses available.

Antique Auctions, Sunday Outdoor Concerts at Saint Gaudens, and
Billings Farm Museum.
- Directions: From I-89 or 91 North
Take 91 South to exit #9, go into Windsor and follow Route 44 (2nd
light go right) to Brownsville (also known as West Windsor). At the
Brownsville Store - Mobil Station - set your odometer for 3.9 miles.
Shattuck Hill Road is on your right - in the middle of the curve.
The Farm is the second house on the left, the old white cape.
From 91 South: Take exit #8 go right to the
first light - Route 5 - go left, North on Route 5 at 1.1 miles take
44-A to the left and left again where it joins Route 44 to
Brownsville (see above directions from Brownsville).
From Woodstock or Route 4: Follow Route 106
South to Route 44 (1815 House restaurant) go left. Go one-half mile
to the curve, where Shattuck Hill Road goes to the left. The Pond
House is the second house on the left. If all else fails, call
