Ski & Snowshoe Center
A top-notch Nordic skiing experience is
available to you at The Mountain Top Inn and Resort. The Nordic
ski touring center was one of the first commercial cross-country
ski center in Vermont, with over a quarter-century of serving
the skiing public. The extensive trail system is meticulously
groomed to offer a wide variety of classical ski track and
skating lanes for guests. Because of its unique snow-making
system, Mountain Top can blanket 1.5 kilometers of trails with
machine-made snow to ensure good skiing conditions regardless of
what Mother Nature produces. |

The Mountain Top Inn and Resort is one
of the very few resorts in the Northeast to offer an
extensive program of horseback riding vacations. At
Mountain Top, each rider can tailor a personalized riding
program to their desires and ability level, making riding
as varied and intensive as the rider wants. You may take
riding lessons, go for guided trail rides, or combine
guided trail rides with specialized individual group
instruction in English, Western, Jumping, Dressage, or
introduction to Cross Country. Whether you are an
experienced rider or are new to the saddle, the
instructors will help you improve your riding and
