• Minimum stay: 2 night minimum stay required on summer weekends (Friday and Saturday nights), holidays, special events and during foliage season. If in doubt - call to inquire about single night stays.

• Payment: No deposit. Credit card holds the room and payment is taken upon arrival. We accept cash, travelers checks and all major credit cards.
• Check-in: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm unless other arrangements are made. Check-out: 11:00 am
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 10 days prior to the date of arrival to avoid a charge for one night's stay. In the event the room is able to be re-booked for the duration of your booking, there will be no charge. If a guest does not honor their reservation, they will be charged for the full stay unless the room is reserved by another guest for the entire length of the original booking
• Restrictions: Pets are no longer accepted. Well-behaved children over the age of twelve are welcome. Special childrens menus for breakfast are not provided. No smoking inside. On-site pub with beer and wine, Vermont state law prohibits outside alcohol from being consumed on the premises.
• Breakfast: Full Breakfast, served between 8:00 & 9:30 A.M. Exceptions made for business guests who need earlier breakfast.
• Special Recommended Recipes: Apple Coffee Cake and Grand Marnier French Toast.
• Special Events at Inn: Weddings, civil unions, and small meetings.
• Recreation & Activities: Nearby boating, fishing, golf, and hiking.
• Attractions & Special Events: Mountains and trails, rivers for boating, Strolling of the Heifers in June, Farmer's Market - May to Sept.
• Directions: From I-91: Take Exit 3. You will come to a roundabout. Take the first right heading south on US 5 (Putney Road). We are a mile and a half on the right. From Exits 1 & 2 come through downtown, head north on Main Street which becomes Putney Road. We are about a third of a mile on the left.
  From Route 9 (Keene NH): After you cross the Connecticut River into Vermont you come to a roundabout. Take the third right heading south on Route 5 (Putney Road). We are a mile and a half on the right.
  From Route 9 (Bennington VT/Albany): Follow Route 9 into downtown Brattleboro to traffic light on Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street (Putney Road/Route 5). Head north out of downtown for a third of a mile. We are on the left.
