High on a hill in the picturesque Vermont town of New Haven nestled between the Adirondack and the Green Mountains sits the 1796 House at Roland's Place. ... an extraordinary restaurant and Bed and Breakfast. At night, travelers will be drawn to the welcoming lights of this historic building.

The 1796 House provides three air-conditioned lodging accommodations, each with private bath and one with a whirlpool tub for two. The living room area offers a TV, VCR, games, books and phone. The room is nicely renovated in a Victorian style with beautiful Wideboard floors

A complete Vermont breakfast gives you a good start to enjoying all the activities the area. Just five miles north of Middlebury and 30 miles south of Burlington, Roland's Place is close to great biking, hiking, antique shopping, swimming, and, of course, fantastic views. Fishing at Lake Champlain and skiing at Ski Bowl and Sugarbush are nearby as well.

Roland's Place is wonderful for weddings of 100 to 200 people. The 35 x 80-foot deck attached to the Inn has a white canvas cover and a wonderful view of the Adirondack and Green Mountains. The beautiful grounds are naturally landscaped for the perfect wedding. Miniature white lights surround the deck with a surface makes an excellent dance floor. Facility rental include tables, chairs, linens, candles, honeymoon suite, and your choice of flowers, with cameras for the tables. The celebration continues with a reception hosted by Roland's Place Restaurant.
