- Payment: 50% deposit required to hold the room. Visa,
MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal and travelers'
checks, and cash are accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be
received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date to ensure
a full refund of deposit, minus a $10.00 administrative fee. If your
cancellation notice is made less than 14 days in advance, a full
refund of deposit will be given (minus the $10.00 fee) only if your
room(s) can be re-rented.
- Restrictions: No smoking. No pets (cat in residence).
Children accepted on a limited basis.
- Breakfast: Full breakfast and afternoon snack included.
- Recreation & Activities: Golf, hiking, biking,
fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, antique shopping, hot air
ballooning, and rafting.

Festival (mid-June), Vermont Symphony concert at Quechee Polo Field
(early July), Apple and Crafts Fair (early October), Wassail Weekend
(mid-December), Simon Pearce Hand Blown Glass Factory, VT Institute
of Science Raptor Center, Sugarbush Farms, Dartmouth College, and
covered bridges.
- Recommended Restaurants: Bentley's (802) 457-3232 and
Mangowood at Lincoln Inn (802) 457-3312.
- Directions: From Boston: 93 North to 89
North to Vermont Exit 1 (Route 4). Follow signs to Woodstock.
From New York: Take 95 to 91 North to Exit 9.
Follow Route 12 to Route 4 West to the Village.
Once in Woodstock: Go through the Village,
continuing on Route 4 for one mile. The Carriage House is on your
right (just past the Woodstock Farmer's Market on the left).
From Albany: Take the Thruway (87) North to
Route 149 North, then to Route 4 East. The Carriage House is on the
left approximately 3 miles from the Bridgewater Mill Outlet Shops;
1/4 mile from the Woodstock High School (there's a sign about 1/3
mile from the property to warn you of the turn).
