The Richmond Victorian is a New England bed and breakfast inn is a beautiful 13-room Queen Anne Victorian in the Lake Champlain area of Vermont.

It was built in 1854 by the Edwards family. The Edwards were farmers and owned much of the land in the Village of Richmond, Vermont. Three generations of Edwards enjoyed this property until 1947, when it was sold to the Luke Harrington family. The Harringtons also acquired property across from their new home and began a smokehouse curing meat products. The smokehouse still operates today, and Harrington products enjoy a world-wide reputation.

The Bed and Breakfast has, as one guest put it, an "elegant, casual" ambiance. Furnished in period antiques with an eye on detail, each of the six rooms has its own sense of comfort. All six of the lodging accommodations have private baths. The large common living room and formal dining room allow guests to get to know one another.

Your morning starts with a full country breakfast prepared by chef/owner Frank Stewart. The Richmond Victorian Inn features Harrington smoked meats for breakfast daily.

The Inn is centrally located close to lakes, mountains, and rivers. This area is ideal for an activity-filled vacation or a relaxing vacation here at the Inn any time of the year. Burlington and Lake Champlain are just 12 miles away, and many golf courses are nearby.

The Richmond Victorian Inn is the perfect location for your next weekend getaway or vacation. Small weddings, receptions, family reunions, retreats, workshops, and meetings for up to 15 people are welcome, and ski packages are available in season.
