Cancellation notice must be received at least 72 hours prior to
scheduled arrival date to avoid a charge. Cancellations received
less that the required 72 hours will incur a penalty of 1 night's
room and tax charge to the credit card guaranteeing the reservation.
The 72 hour period begins at 3:00 pm three days prior to arrival
date. The same applies to changes to the original reservation or
early departures. No show reservations will be responsible for the
full amount of the reserved nights (maximin of 3 nights' room and
tax).

in Staunton by Interstates 81 and 64, or by backcountry roads like
route 250. Historic Staunton Station offers an Amtrak stop from
Washington DC. Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport is located just 20
minutes away. Charlottesville Albemarle Airport is located just 50
minutes away.
- Directions: from
the South - Take Interstate 81 to Exit 222, Follow 250 West
for approximately 2-1/2 miles. Richmond Road (Rte. 250) ends at
Route 11 Business. Turn Right and just after the overpass turn left
onto Greenville. Turn right on South New Street and go 1-1/2 blocks
and turn left into the Augusta Street Parking Lot. Frederick House
is on the right. The entrance is under the blue and white awning.
Parking is adjacent to the entrance.
from the North - Take Interstate 81 to Exit
225. Head west on Route 262 or the Woodrow Wilson Parkway (right off
of the ramp). At the first intersection turn left (this is Route
11). Follow Route 11 South to Downtown Staunton. Stay to the right
as you pass through two forks in the road. This will become Business
11. Business 11 will become Augusta Street in the downtown. Cross
Frederick Street. Half way down the next block you will see a sign
for Frederick House parking, turn left into the parking area.
Frederick House is on the left. The entrance is under the blue and
white awning. Parking is adjacent to the entrance.
