• Accommodations: 9 rooms, 2 suites, 2 luxury cabins and a 2 bedroom cottage that sleeps up to six. All rooms have woodburning fireplaces or gas stove, individual heat and air conditioning and decks. Some rooms have TV/DVD/VCR. 4 rooms have whirlpool tubs.
• Rates: $148.00 to $248.00 double occupancy per night, per room. $25.00 to $45.00 per extra person. Rates subject to change without notice.
• Open: Mid February through Mid December.

• Payment: Deposit of 1 night's lodging is required. Visa, MasterCard, traveler's checks and personal checks are accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date to ensure refund of deposit, less a $25.00 service charge. Refunds within 14 days of scheduled arrival date are dependent upon room being re-rented.
• Restrictions: Sugar Tree Inn is most appropriate for adults. Except for Creek House, which welcomes children, only responsible children over 12 can be accommodated. Smoking on decks and porches only. No pets, please.
• Breakfast: Full breakfast.
• Dinner: Fine dining available by advance reservation to both guests and non-guests Friday & Saturday. Chef's Choice Casual Fare available most weekdays to Inn guests only. Snack basket also available.
• Special Events at Inn: Small weddings, receptions, and conferences.
• Recreation & Activities: Hiking, canoeing, trout fishing in nearby Tye and South Rivers, skiing at Wintergreen Resort, tubing, and horseback riding.
• Attractions & Special Events: Appalachian Trail, Museum of American Frontier Culture, museums, and historic Staunton nearby. An hour drive to Monticello, Charlottesville, University of Virginia and Appomattox. Wineries and vineyard tour, fine restaurants, antiquing, craft and outlet shops, Crabtree falls, Natural Bridge and Goshen Pass near by.

• Directions:from Highway 81: Take Exit 205 to Steeles Tavern. Proceed east on Highway 606 1.5 miles to Hwy. 11. Take a left and then a immediate right on Hwy. 56. Follow Hwy. 56 through Vesuvius and cross the RR tracks before climbing 2.8 miles up the mountain road to Lodge Trail on your right.
  From Blue Ridge Parkway: Exit at Milepost 27 for Steeles Tavern and proceed 0.9 miles on Hwy. 56 to Lodge Trail on your left.
  Head down our long winding road beneath the towering oaks and hemlocks, through a switch back turn, over the bridge, and up our hill to the Inn!
