• Payment: A credit card number of receipt of a deposit is required to hold rooms. Visa, MasterCard, travelers' and personal checks (within 7 days of reservation), are accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date to ensure the return of the deposit minus a cancellation fee of $25.00. For cancellations made in less than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date, we will charge for the whole stay, and also issue a gift certificate for the same amount, good for use within a year.
• Check-in: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. or by prior arrangement. Check-out: 11:00 a.m. on weekdays, 12:00 non on Sunday.
• Restrictions: No smoking. No pets. Well-behaved children over 12 are welcome in all quarters (younger children by arrangement in the Cottage).
• Breakfast: Generous continental served weekdays. Full Virginia Country Breakfast served on weekends. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements at the time of your reservation.
• Special Events at Inn: Meetings and groups up to 20 people.
• Recreation and Activities: Canoe and kayak rentals at Inn ($25.00 per day), golf at 4 area courses, fishing, and boating.
• Attractions & Special Events: Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, Christchurch (Lancaster Co.), James River plantations, Stratford Hall, Middle Peninsula historical markers, Rosewell, Busch Gardens, Water Country, Mariner's Museum, antique shopping, military bases, and guided kayak tours.

• Directions: The Inn is just 55 minutes from the Richmond airport and 2-1/2 hours from Washington D.C. By car, take Route 17 to Gloucester Court House. Take Route 14 East towards Mathews. Once on Route 14, go 3-1/2 miles to Route. 622 (Toddsbury Lane) on the right. North River Inn is 1-1/2 miles straight ahead. Or, come by boat and tie up at the Inn's deep water dock.
