Southeastern Utah is know as the Four Corners as its tip touches 3 other states. You will see some geographical drama here - in Arches National Park and the "Fiery Furnace". A varied range of landforms are here for the enjoying ranging from the desert of the Colorado Plateau, to the high forested peaks of the Manti-la Sal National Forest. But most of all the landscape is dominated by rock - rock formations that humble and inspire. Rock canyons so deep, that the sun just comes to visit. Blanding and Moab offer a civilized retreat from nature for a little while with comfortable lodging and bed and breakfast inns. The most accessible boating in the Southeastern area just outside Moab is Highway 128, more commonly known as The River Road. It parallels the Colorado River for about forty miles. Fishing, rafting, kayaking, water skiing, camping and picnicking are in order for this area.
