gardens, dogwood and redbud all in bloom. Take the Azalea
trail route through Tyler, or visit a

and Breakfast inn in Jefferson, or wander through the
Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden in Nacogdoches. Later in the year
the rose festival in Tyler offers parades, tours and plenty
of tasty foods and the city Zoo is one of the best small
zoos in the country. Longview offers the Gregg County
Historical Museum and Museum of Fine Arts. The many lakes in
the region offer opportunities for great
fishing,
boating, floating and waterside picnicking. See the animal
farm on Highway 20 in Canton or attend the largest flee
market in the country every month .... the weekend before
the "First Monday" in Canton. |
