    Remodeled cottage has 1 queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, bath with shower, a full kitchen and living area, central air and heat, washer, dryer, a BBQ grill, and a small CD player. All rooms are wheelchair accessible.
    Remodeled home has a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom, and a full bottom and single top bunk bed in the third bedroom. The living room has a queen sofa bed, TV with basic satellite services, and a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with counter top appliances, utensils, and dishes., Home has a washer, dryer, central air and heat, and a BBQ grill. Garage not included.

    Rates shown are per night based on single/double occupancy. Each additional person is $20.00 per night. Rates are subject to a 12% tax on the total amount. Weekly and monthly rates are available.

  • Payment: Full payment of total amount due must be paid before arrival date. Money orders and personal checks accepted. Please make checks and money orders payable to Lake Hiawatha Properties.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of deposit, less a $25.00 processing fee. No refunds on early check-out.
  • Restrictions: No pets. No smoking. Children welcome. No motor boats in lake.
  • Breakfast: Creative continental breakfast provided.
  • Languages Spoken: English.
  • Recreation & Activities: Fishing, watching deer and other wildlife, and walking on nature trails on opposite side of lake. Horseback riding (Bandera County has numerous facilities that offer horseback tours), hiking, biking (35 miles of varying terrain in Hill Country State Natural Area), golf (two 18-hole public courses), and water sports (rafting, tubing, canoeing, etc.) on the Medina River at nearby facilities.
    Walking or driving tours of Bandera County are available at the Bandera County Visitors Center.
    Open rodeos are held at least twice weekly from Memorial Day weekend (May) through Labor Day weekend (September). Usual schedule is Tuesday and Friday night. Several Saturday-night rodeos in the summer. Professional Rodeo Memorial Day weekend.
    Birding and Nature: more than 200 species of birds have been identified in Bandera County. Hill Country State Natural Area, Lost Maples State Natural Area, and Bandera City Park. Private birding tours are available.
  • Attractions & Special Events: Frontier Times Museum, Hill Country State Natural Area, historical walking and driving tours (available at the Bandera County Visitors Bureau), St. Stanislaus (2nd oldest Catholic Church in the U.S.), rodeos (held at least twice weekly between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend), unique shops, and honky tonks.
  • Recommended Local Restaurants: O.S.T. Restaurant (on Main Street), and Brick's Restaurant (on North Main Street) behind River Oak Hotel.
  • Local Attractions: Only 45 minutes away from San Antonio, Texas - home of Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World Parks, The Alamo, and many other attractions.
