Come be pampered at Elm Creek Manor Luxury Bed and Breakfast
& Resort, centrally located in North Texas just outside
the charming German community of Muenster. Situated on 14
acres of rolling hills dotted with towering pecan trees along
the banks of two meandering creeks, this bed and breakfast

The manor was originally designed as a private retreat for
owners Bradford and Marcia Scarbrough. After traveling
throughout Europe, however, they fell in love with the history
and charm of the old inns, bed and breakfasts, and Medieval
castles they visited. Bradford and Marcia strove to re-create
this Old World ambience throughout Elm Creek Manor, extending
European elegance, history, and splendor to their guests.
You will see remnants of their world travels in the unique
stained-glass window and tall arched window near the entrance,
both over 250 years old and brought back from a historical
Anglican church in western England. An ancient set of doors
and iron transom from Italy are well over 500 years old. The
antique mantel and the coal-burning fireplace in the dining
room come together to create a dramatic effect.
Choose from six lodging accommodations at Elm Creek Manor,
each with private bath, the luxury of 500-plus thread count
Egyptian cotton linens, imported down comforters, numerous
pillows of both down and luxury-fill, two DKNY designer robes,
plush towels, and the finest bath amenities. The conveniences
of wireless Internet access, satellite TV, and a DVD/VCR are
also yours to enjoy.
Each room, suite, and cottage features decor exemplifying a
region visited by your hosts, with one suite boasting a
whimsical collection of artifacts collected from Europe, North
Africa, and the Far East. Special amenities in your chamber

as well as Fischer's Market, featuring their own German smoked
sausage and meat plus one of only four glockenspiels in the

can also take a scenic drive up along the Red River, visit the
outlet mall or local wineries, enjoy some fun in the sun at

A mouth-watering breakfast is created each morning in
the warm and inviting English Country kitchen, also the
site of the Inn's gourmet cooking classes, hosted
periodically with guest chefs from throughout the region.
Early risers can opt for Starbucks coffee accompanied
by biscotti or local German strudel -- a satisfying start
to a busy day.
There are always complimentary homemade cookies,
snacks, and bottled water. Gourmet snack baskets are also
available.
Gather each evening for the complimentary cocktail hour,
a pleasant stop before a dinner reservation or a relaxing
evening out. This is hosted in the library during chilly
months. During warmer weather, chat under the vine-covered
arbor next to the pool or on the back verandah surrounded
by the scented herb garden and enhanced by a trickling
water fountain.
Rather than head out, you might want to enjoy a
wonderful gourmet repast at the Inn, either in the formal
