- Payment: $50.00 to $100.00 deposit. For credit card
reservations, room will be charged after arrival. Visa, Master Card,
Discover, American Express, and personal checks accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be
received at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date for 100%
refund. Late cancellations will be refunded if we are able to rent
the room (we will make every attempt to do so).
- Restrictions: No smoking and no pets. There is no phone
or TV provided in rooms.
- Breakfast: Kitchenettes are provided with Continental
breakfast included.
- Recreation & Activities: Tennis, famous golf course,
swimming, fishing (Squaw Creek Lake - catfish and trout), hiking and
walking trails, fossil hunts, city park, and canoes nearby. 5 miles
to horse rentals, riding, carriages, and hay rides.
- Attractions & Special Events: Wild Life Drive-Through
Park, Outdoor Amphitheater, The Promise (musical drama of Christ),
Bluegrass festivals, dinosaur tracks and fossils, and indoor arena
(Expo Center). Annual Celtic Festival. Horse stables are about 6
miles away.
- Recommended Local Restaurant: Pastafina - Hwy 67 South
(254) 898-9117, Chachis (254) 897-7504, ... Donna K's Catfish (254)
897-4305, ... Anderson's Antiques (deli) - (254) 897-9421, and Pizza
(254) 898-0022. An information book in cottage gives map to all
restaurants and a menu from each one. Several fast food chains also
in town.
