Do you love animals? Do you like to get up
close and personal with them? If so, here is your chance to go
on a guided Safari tour featuring over 500 animals,
encompassing over 80 species. The Exotic Resort Zoo is a
one-of-a-kind preserve where several endangered species of
animals have a chance to increase their numbers, allowing
people to enjoy their beauty and company at the same time.
The commitment of the Zoo is not only to
maintain a healthy atmosphere for the animals, but also to
help them to become people-friendly. Everyone has a chance to
have a hands-on experience with all the animals.
Of course, the main event is the Safari
tour through the zoo's 137 acres. If you are staying in the
cabins, everyone in your party will have the opportunity to
take this free tour. During the tour, you will not only touch
and feed the animals but also hear from the tour guide some of
the unique characteristics of where they are from, who they
are, their names, and their unique habits.
After the tour, enjoy the unique, close-up
experience of petting, feeding, and playing with the friendly
animals in The Exotic Resort's Petting Zoo. The baby deer,
llama, kangaroo, and others just love all the attention they
get from children and grown-ups too! Stay as long as you wish,
and don't forget your camera.
Ideal for school field trips, birthday
parties, or a family vacation, The Exotic Resort Zoo offers
both fun and a valuable educational experience. Most of all,
however, the zoo helps the animals survive. More than half of
the wild animals in the park at one time or another were
listed on the endangered animal lists and were nearing
extinction. Fortunately, because of zoos and animal parks like
The Exotic Resort Zoo, many are multiplying and will be
around for your children and grandchildren to enjoy |
Five vacation cabins finished in aromatic
cedar are available should you want to take your time while
exploring the zoo. All cabins have private baths and large
front porches overlooking a beautiful fishing lake, stocked
with fish for your angling enjoyment. Two cabins have
kitchens, and all have access to a unique barbecue pit and
outside gas grill. An outside burner is also available if you
choose to fry fresh fish you just caught from the lake.
There is a fenced-in section so you can
safely walk to the lake without some of the animals coming up
to you. You can enjoy all the animals frolicking and coming to
the lake to drink while you are relaxing on your front porch.
A hot tub, swimming pool, and a nice game room with pool table
are available. Upon request, the zoo staff will put together a
bonfire or campfire for you. You can sit around the evening
fire while watching the silhouettes of animals roaming in the
moonlight as you roast marshmallows and hot dogs. |
