The spacious Town Creek Bed and Breakfast
sits on an acre of land adjacent to the Fredericksburg, Texas
historical district, with Main Street shopping just two short
blocks away. Guests are peacefully secluded from the bustle of
thriving town activities by wooded Town Creek.
You will find that each of the four
beautiful theme suites has its own private entry and its own
individual character. Each offers a private entrance and
private bath. In-room amenities include coffee, tea, and
snacks. Some suites have refrigerators and microwaves.
Property additions include a Great Room
inspired by a 150-year-old stone barn, adjacent Sun Porch, and
two detached suites.
The original part of the house hosts the
two bedroom Victorian Rose Suite with
queen-size beds and parlor. The Ivy Suite has
a king-size bed and can adjoin the Victorian Rose Suite or be
private. Six people can stay comfortable in these two suites,
popular with families, friends, and small groups.
The Garden Cottage and Planter's
Suite are perfect for romantic getaways. Each is
private from the main house. There is an old-fashioned swing
on the porch of the Garden Cottage, perfect for relaxing and
watching nature. The Planter's Suite has a private patio and
is next to a garden area.
The Inn's newest addition is a two-story
cottage with beautiful porches and a very secluded view of
Town Creek. There are two suites in the creekside cottage,
Sydney's Cottage and Zoe's Place |
The original building was built in 1898 as
an "in town" family farm house. Without sacrificing
historical charm, the property has been graciously renovated
with central air conditioning, electricity, and indoor
plumbing.
A full gourmet breakfast is served each
day in the great room, but breakfast may also be enjoyed in
the large enclosed, plant-filled sun porch or outside on the
spacious stone patio. These areas are perfect for bird
watching, reading, or simply drinking morning coffee and
enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Historic Fredericksburg, in the heart of
Texas Hill Country and just a short walk from your secluded
retreat, is home to famous specialty shops, world-class
restaurants, and museums. The Fredericksburg MarktPlatz (or
Town Center, the focal point for area festivals and
celebrations) is an easy four-block walk east. |
