Welcome to Baker St. Harbour, a stately turn-of-the-century, two-story Victorian home located on a two-acre quiet cul-de-sac on Lake Granbury, just eight short blocks from Granbury's historic downtown square.

You are invited to enjoy the casual atmosphere of "the harbour" as you refresh and recharge in one of four guest rooms, lovingly appointed with antiques and family treasures and each with private bath. Each accommodation has a unique personality of its own, comforting the weariest of travelers or setting the scene for a romantic getaway. Linger over family-style breakfasts served in the spacious kitchen as you enjoy the breathtaking view of the grounds and beautiful Lake Granbury.

Steal a moment from your childhood as you sway on the big tire swing under a bough of cradling oaks, stroll to the double-decked dock for fishing and boating, or relax in the gazebo nearby. Just "listen to the quiet" as you rock away your cares from your porch rocker. Lake Granbury offers a multitude of water activities, including boating, fishing, and swimming. Experience the beauty of Lake Granbury on one of "The Granbury Riverboat" cruises. Of course, the town of Granbury is an adventure in itself with its historic town square, Granbury Opera House, Granbury Live music theater, museums, and distinctive shops and restaurants. Drive to nearby Glen Rose to visit the Dinosaur Valley State Park, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, or the Texas Amphitheater, where "The Promise" is featured (September 1 - October 27, Fridays & Saturdays, 2007). The inn was on the 2001 and 2004 Candlelight Tour of Homes.
