You are invited to this family-owned, 37-acre working ranch where you can enjoy comfortable accommodations, peace and tranquility in the country. The new bed and breakfast lodge is ideal for large groups or private getaways.

Filled with beautiful antiques and comfortable furnishings, the twelve bed and breakfast rooms are uniquely themed. Most have private baths, and six have jetted tubs. Pick a room offering Wild West excitement or a Safari motif, or enjoy Victorian elegance or Royal grandeur. There is a special room just for you at MD Resort.

A barn apartment with kitchen is perfect for a large family or an extended group of friends. Larger groups may consider renting the entire lodge, a possibility for a wedding, party, reunion, or meeting.

If you have time to venture into the surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, there is plenty to do and see. Visit the nearby Decatur town square with its shops and restaurants, go to the Fort Worth Stockyards or be a part of the excitement of Texas Motor Speedway, just 15 minutes away.

A full breakfast is served 9 a.m. every morning to overnight guests, complete with freshly brewed coffee and home-cooked breakfast favorites. Afterwards, peruse the expansive grounds of the ranch. You might see horses, miniature donkeys, buffalo, emu, goats, deer, and so much more as you mosey through the gardens and pastures of the ranch. Relax in the large pool with a 10-foot spa, perfect in any season. Several activities can be planned for you on site as well, including laser tag, karaoke, and picnics.
