Aunt Stella's Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

1/4 cup shortening

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup peanut butter (I like crunchy)

1 cup unsifted flour

1 teaspoon soda

Cream shortening, sugar and peanut butter and eggs. Mix well. Add flour and soda, sifted together. Roll into small balls of dough and place on ungreased cookie sheet; press flat with fork.

Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes
