New Braunfels lies on the
Guadalupe River northeast of San Antonio. Providing excellent
water recreation, The Guadalupe River and the Comal River attracts
visitors to this Hill Country area from all over the state of
Texas and beyond. The Guadalupe, between Canyon Dam and New
Braunfels is famous for its exciting rapids and its sparkling
clear waters and is very popular with tubers. |
Not to be outdone by its
natural waterways, New Braunfels is the site of one of the most
famous water parks in the United States, the Schlitterbahn Water
Park Resort. This is a wonderful water playland for all ages.
