Banana Bread

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup mashed ripe bananas (3 large)

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 cups flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chopped nuts

Cream margarine and sugar. Beat eggs until light and add lemon juice to mashed bananas. Blend with creamed mixture, mix flour, baking powder and salt together and mix quickly into banana mixture and add nuts. Bake in greased pound loaf pan in 350 degree oven for approximately one hour. (Check to make sure center is baked.)
