7: The Fiery Gizzard Room
(pictured above right)
Named for the famed 15 mile trail in the nearby South
Cumberland Recreation Area, this This room enjoys the best
view of the patio and park from the viewing balcony. The
luxurious cherry queen sleigh bed provides a special respite
with luxurious 600 thread count sheets. Relax in the reclining
wingback or sit at the writing desk while you enjoy the
McCarthey landscape oil painting.

8: The Grundy Lakes Room
(pictured left)
Named for the Grundy Lakes State Park (a very special
place to visit and only 10 minutes from the Inn) this guest
accommodation offers an antique king bed with comfortable
linens and feather pillows to assure that wonderful nights
sleep. Use the antique American desk to write a note or relax
on the bright love seat and read a book. The antique English
armoire adds charm as well as function to your room

9: The Laurel Trail Room

Named for the local Laurel Trail which is a wonderful
respite in the forest of mountain laurel, this SE corner room
is full of romance with angels & romantic prints and
features a wonderful king bed with a cupid iron head and foot
boards dressed in luxurious linens. Spend some time in the
pair of reclining wing back chairs just visiting, reading or
relaxing. The antique English armoire adds warmth as well as
function to this bright & sunny room. The viewing balcony
overlooks the spectacular garden with its gazebo.

10: The Jump Off Room
(pictured right)
Named for the area south of Sewanee, this bright and
airy SW corner room is a guest's favorite with two viewing
balconies. The queen bed with its iron headboard is adorned
with crisp white linens and feather pillows for one of the
best night's sleep you have had in years. The two reclining
wingback chairs provide the perfect place to relax and enjoy
the Italian artworks. The bathroom has its own window
overlooking the garden.

Named for the Sequatchie Indians and the local valley
they occupied, this quiet room has a queen bed with iron
headboard with our trademark luxurious linens. The pair of

Gulf State Park, this first floor room has a queen bed with an

domain of The University of the South and a spectacular
driving or hiking adventure, this first floor room is
completely handicap accessible with all of the modern

sleep. Relax in the two reclining wingback chairs. You have
your own private entrance onto the patio for a late night or
early morning venture. Bathrobes are in the English antique
