The Barking Fox
Farm Guest House is a Virginia-style horse farm located in
Landrum, South Carolina, less than an hour from Asheville and
Greenville. This beautiful farm is situated in the foothills
of the Blue Ridge Mountains on forty-three acres.
The Barking Fox
Farm's Guest House is decorated with fine antiques and
features gigantic eleven foot ceilings, adorned with beautiful
chandeliers. The bedroom features a beautiful antique bed
adored with a duvet cover that matches the Guest House dog
bed. All tile flooring with beautiful oriental rugs, a full
kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances,
and a whirlpool tub make this a home away from home vacation
rental. A new second guesthouse is also available and features
French doors and a pasture view.
Both guest houses
are self contained with their own bedroom with a queen size
bed, bathroom with whirlpool tub, living room, and fully
equipped kitchen.
The Guest House
kitchen features a refrigerator full of milk, eggs and juice
for breakfast. The hosts serve delicious muffins or crumpets
with delicious local gourmet jam and make sure to always
remember your canine friend by providing tasty dog biscuits.
The area provides
some of the best horseback riding opportunities around, as
well as great golf, hiking, rafting, and fishing spots. In
addition to the local eating venues, there are numerous
antique shops, tack shops, art galleries featuring horses and
more, and gift shops brimming with locally made wares such as
pottery, woodcrafts, quilts and wovens. The area is well known
for its local artists.
