Built in 1884, this elegant and historic home offers the charm of bed and breakfast hospitality and the splendor of scenic Newport

The accommodations at Rose Cottage are simple, yet elegantly reflect the local New England style. Three tastefully decorated guestrooms offer a variety of lodging accommodation needs. The Peggy Primrose Room offers a luxurious four-poster queen size bed and a private bath with a full tub and shower. The McAdams Suite has two bedrooms and one bathroom decorated in cheerful florals. Room I features a queen size mahogany bed and a walk-in closet, while Room II give you a choice of either two twin-sized or one king-sized iron and brass bed. The suite is perfect for family stays, but can also be rented individually. All rooms offer air conditioning to keep you and other guests at maximum comfort.

Start your day off on a positive note with a full breakfast served in the Victorian dining room. A continental breakfast option is available for those wanting a quicker and simpler morning starter. Take time to engage in great conversation and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with other guests from around the world.

Newport Rose Cottage is only a short walk west to the waterfront area with its famous Newport Yachting Center, outstanding restaurants, and interesting shops.

Walk 5 minutes east and you find yourself on Bellevue Avenue, the start of the magnificent Ocean Drive. Enjoy biking Ocean Drive on the Inn's complimentary tandem bike.

Tour the majestic grand mansions of Newport, picnic on the beach or take a boat ride.

There are several interesting museums nearby, as well as The Blues Cafe, where you can enjoy great entertainment provided by talented Boston musicians.
