• Accommodations: Vary from historic mansions to private homes. Coastal and rural locations; all an easy drive to Rhode Islands beautiful Atlantic coastline and beaches.
• Rates: Vary according to Bed and Breakfast size and amenities offered. The Bed and Breakfast Referral Service of South Coast Rhode Island knows average rates charged. Rates include a 5% Rhode Island sales tax and are subject to change without notice.
• Open: All year, 7 days a week, between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Out-of-hours calls are answered next morning.
• Reservations: Procedures vary. However, usually one week in advance, or earlier, if possible; during summer season as our Bed and Breakfasts are all in prime vacation areas. Last-minute reservations welcomed provided room is available. Also check with us for last-minute cancellations. If all Bed and Breakfasts are full, we refer you to others. • Payment: Deposit usually entails a one-night deposit at least one week ahead with full payment on arrival. Check details with the specific bed and breakfast chosen.
• Restrictions: We provide this information when you call and refer according to your needs.
• Breakfast: Some continental, others full breakfasts.
• Lunch/Dinner: Not included in room rates. However some provide tables, plates and utensils for guests with their own takeout meals and for barbecue grill feasts outdoors.
• Special Inn Events: We can refer to Bed and Breakfasts who can accommodate weddings, receptions, special events etc. We can also refer to Bed and Breakfasts for accommodations for overflow guests attending such events.
• Recreation & Activities: Each accommodation provides a list of up-to-date activities.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: Each member Bed and Breakfast has its own listing of special restaurants it mentions to its guests.
