Westerly is apply named for its westerly position in South County, Rhode Island. Situated on the western border, of Connecticut, this area displays abundant waterfront starting at the end of the Pawcatuck inlet and around to the Block Island Sound. This area includes two very popular summer resort communities - Watch Hill and Misquamicut.
